Pitted and chipped.. will be interesting to see how much it goes for.
This is yet another problem I see with keeping my 239. It seems that everything I see listed for the Y blocks leaves the 239 off. Why wouldn't these fit my Yblock?
The 239 'Y' was a one year only production engine and the first 'Y' block. Often changes are made after the intital production offering and that's what happened to the 239 'Y' block.
I've got to be careful at swap meets. Everybody is quick to tell me that what they are selling will absolutely fit my 239. I have a 2 - 4 bbl intake and carbs that I need to get rid of.
