I am replacing the the R+P in my dana 70 dually (4.10 to 3.54)
My old pinion marking was +6 and my new one is +2.
On this rear the pinion shims are under the inner race rather than under the pinon bearing.
If the shims were under the bearing, I think I would remove 0.004. SInce they are under the race, I need to add 0.004".
Is this correct??? or am I backwards?
TIA
Sean
