Ranger chassis. How tall should it be?

I finaly got around to moving my 46 cab to the Ranger chassis. It actually fits pretty good. The rear cab mounts on the Ranger frame miss the factory 46 mounts by about 3 inches. The front ones miss by a mile. I will be moving both to sit on top of the frame.

I was worried about how tall the frame was. When I measure my 41 the ranger frame comes out almost 5 inches taller, but when compared to the 46, the frame is actually 1 inch lower. The front suspension on both the 41 and 46 are stock and unaltered. has anyone else noticed this difference? Is it just that my trucks are weird? The frame on the 46 does have larger rails but it shouldn't account for that much difference.

ussually I would be trying to get the 46 as low as possible, but since this truck is going to be four wheel drive I might leave it tall. From the ground to the bottom of the cab mount is 24 inches. The same measurement on my 41 is 19 inches.

I was kind of wondering what ride hieght some similar trucks were at. I could use some ballpark measurements before I mount the cab. If I get it wrong I'll just have to do it all over again.
