I just bought my 06 yesturday. Sticker was $51165.00. I got x-plan price of $45380.00 plus rebates. Mine has the power moonroof and power slider and power pedals. All very nice features. But get what you want. All dealers should be able to sell for x-plan price plus rebates. Let us know how you do.
Have you purchased this truck yet? If not...i would like to suggest that you think real hard about a BLACK truck. Obviously, this is personal preference. My wife got a black one, and it looked great when we bought it, but its hard as hell to keep looking nice. After a while the scratches and swirlies really start to come through.
Just a thought...otherwise, thats a very nice truck. I didnt get the power rear slider.
Then again, im in Houston, and there are only like 5 days out of the year you want to drive with your windows down.
Is x-Plan lower then Invoice? Right now they are doing $100 over invoice then $4000 in rebates for a total of almost 10k off. And i do have a black truck now. i love the was it looks when its clean but i understand how hard it is to keep clean.
I think it depends on the truck and options. That truck I bought the x-plan was about $200 under invoice. The best place to look up x-plan pricing and new car purchases is Polarbear on the new truck section of this forum. I was at $12,000.00 under msrp. But I had a $2500 04 diesel loyalty rebate that ford let me use. And that was no easy task. I had to call my area incentives guy at home on his cell phone for him to extend the rebate being that it expired May 31. My rebates in my area are $3500.00 from ford.
I noticed that the truck is equipped with a heavy duty service suspension. I have read on this site that this option really makes the truck ride extra stiff. You may want to test drive a truck without this option just to make sure you happy with the ride. Black over arizona beige with the crome package and 20's is a very sharp truck. Best of luck.

I've got the Heavy Duty Service Suspension on my SRW 350 and it is not stiff at all. I actually sell Chevy's and I am amazed everytime I drive one of the 2500HD Duramax's how stiff and rough that truck drives compared to my 06' 350...I mean REALLY rough.
I think it has to do with how lightweight that truck is, but not exactly sure why being that it has an IFS.
Sounds like a nice truck i do like the black looks like you chose the chrome package very good choice it will look awesome with the black actually any color it does but it will stand out nice

I'll 2nd this one as well -- we have a one year old Duramax 3500 SRW 4x4 and are going back to Ford as soon as our ordered truck comes in. In test driving an 11,400# GVWR F350 4x4 same configuration as our Chevy, the ride was amazingly smoother -- especially when you consider the Ford is rated for 1,000 lbs more load capacity than our Chevy!
Now maybe if you were comparing ride to say an F150, but that's a whole 'nuther ballgame...
