rear end 8.8 or 7.5

I have a 2005 Ranger Edge auto 4.0 supercab. Seems like dumb question, but do I have a 8.8 or 7.5 rear end?

If i remember correctly, the 4.0's come with the 8.8...i could be wrong though

You are correct. The 2.3L and 3.0L engines have the 7.5".
