29001 miles and had to have the rear brake pads replaced....mechanic brought them into me and showed me their was nothing left to them..right down to bare metal. Is this a common problem? Front pads are at 75% seems like the rear brakes are working way harder than the front. Is their a brake bias adjusment..any feed back would be greatly appreciated.
They are crappy brakes, mine seized....... However, that's the only complaint I have with my 03 edge is the ****ty brakes, other than that, it's been very reliable....
It depends how you drive, and like already mentioned, these aren't the best brakes to begin with. I think I got about 32-35,000 out of stock shoes. Last time I replaced them, I put on Raybestos SuperStop shoes. That made a HUGE difference in itself. Then I replaced the front pads with EBC Greenstuff, and it was like having a totally different truck. It actually stops now !!!!!!
