72 F100 Manual to Power Steering - What do I need?
I have a 72 F100 2wheel drive with a 360 and manual steering. I want to upgrade to power steering and my brother said "no problem, go to the junkyard and all the parts will bolt right up". What all do I need? Are there any problems I might encounter?

you'll need a power steering pump(make sure you get the mounting bracket) and a steering box (power) and appropriate hoses. The pump and the steering box can be purchased (remanufactured) at most parts stores. It would help if you had these parts pulled from a salvage truck for core charges. and don't forget a pulley and additional belt, my 302 uses the water pump/fan pulley and the rear groove on pulley mounted on the harmonic balancer, the next groove runs to my alternator. A remanufactured power steering pump does not have a pulley on it.
