I just received new floor pans and cab mounts and my question is are the cab mounts welded to the floor pans or are they held on strictly by the bushings underneath? Also today I was greasing my truck and turned the wheels to the left with the truck off, and a puddle of fluid leaked from around the bottom of my PS pump. It has now seemed to stop and I couldn't tell for sure if it was coming out of the hard line there at the bottom. My truck is a 72 F100. What would cause this? Thanks!
When I first got my truck it needed a high pressure PS hose. I discovered the leak when I worked the steering back and forth with the hood up. My leak was such that I could even see the spray.
Twenty bucks from the local parts place (they even had it in stock!) and it was fixed.

I recently replaced the hoses to the pump and to the steering box. It's not leaking with the truck running. Perhaps my clamp is not tight enough? Thanks for the tips.
