i have a 72 ford f100 and i want to paint it the original color. i believe the color was a maroon. i cant read the paint code. was could the color be called?

There is a colour called Royal Maroon in my '72 brochure.

Some paint suppliers call the Royal Maroon by the name of Vintage Burgendy. I love that color. Ford used it all through the sixties on mustangs, galaxies, pickups etc. Go for it. I have a '67 mustang that color with a black vinyl top.
