ignition lock
My 96 Ranger would not turn off with the key and the steering will no longer locks in place. There is no tension or pressure on ignition lock except at start position. A friend suggested I needed a new ignition lock so I installed the new one and it behaves just like the old, the truck starts but can't be shut off and the key still turns freely. Another friend said it might be a broken actuator rod.Any ideas ? Thanks
