How Are TSBs Handled?
The Technical Service Bulletins site lists at least four TSBs that describe exactly, problems in the auto-trans. of my '94 F-150 .
These are the bulletin nos.: 9996, 98167, BC4321950705, 95515
The service rep. at our local Ford dealer has no idea (or doesn't admit to knowing) what these bulletens mean.
How can I find out if these TSBs resulted in fixing a problem?
Thanks,
Tom
I don't recognize the format of those TSBs. Those numbers don't look like TSB numbers to me.

TSB data for: 1994 FORD F150
Bulletin Number: 95515
Sequence Number: 39887
Date: 19950301
Component Name: 103000 POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Make: FORD
Model: F150
Year: 1994
Summary:
THERE MAY BE AN INTERMITTENT LOSS OF TORQUE DURING OR JUST AFTER THE 3-4 UPSHIFT OR IN 4TH GEAR ON SOME VEHICLES. *TW
That bulletin (and several others) describe my problems EXACTLY.
Why is it so hard to find out if TSBs result if fixing problems? I WILL PAY to have the work done but my shop (independent) can't fix it and the Ford service dept. seems pretty clueless about TSBs.

Tom (don't mind paying for service--if they fix it!)
