best locker for daily driver?
what would be the best locker for a daily driver?I drive this thing on the street every day.I play in the mudd a few times a week.not much rock crawling mostly mudd.

Front or rear?
"Lunchbox" style locker (that replace only the spider gears) are fairly cheap and work well. If you want a completely open diff with the flip of a switch, cant go wrong with an ARB.

my truck is is identical to yours?what truck do you have?sorry i was talking rear for the locker.wouldn't a rear locker be better and leave the front open for now?yes there is some ice here in the winter.both are open right now so it wasnt to bad this winter but it aint cutting it in the mudd so i need a locker.I was thinking of a detroit locker for the stearling 10:25 rear most guys tell me to put a detroit locker in the rear and the air locker is to much money for me.I live in new england the great north east.

Sorry for the confusion. I was talking about Pkupman82. I do have a locker in the rear. It has worked well for me, but yes, it is a little squirly on ice. That being said, with the long wheelbase it isn't too bad. After all, nothing is really good on ice

My pickup has a L/S front and rear and seems to do pretty good in the mud. I made it through the winter with plenty of ice driving also. I'm pleased with the set up. Someday down the road I might look into a locker for the rear.

I just had my Eaton Elocker installed, and I love it so far! Simple two wire hookup, no compressor or air lines. If you do ever snag a wire, its a lot easier to repair a wire on the trail then an air line. Elockers a little cheaper then ARB too. I like it, just my two cents....
