No power-step on the gas and really no response
The truck an 88 F-150 -4.9 -5spd -4wd -EFI- it doesn't seem to respond to the throttle? TPS -EGR- dirty throttle body? Anyone else ever experience this problem?

same problem
ya my 88 will accelerator nicely when i slowly push the gas but when i punch it to the floor it doesnt give much accel at all i take very good care of my motor so id love to know if any one knows how to help with this

Well I corrected the problem ,but I'm not sure which or all did the trick. I replaced the EGR valve and sensor, the IAC valve, the MAP sensor, the oxygen sensor and a couple of VAC lines. Oh and I cleaned the throttle body. She has never ran so good. All of them needed replaced all were original equipment and in bad shape.
