been looking around for 95 explorer fuse panel diagrams for the driver side as well as for the power box under the hood. knowing what the fuse does would be nice to know and where iit is
well I have narrowed it down to a headlight rely because i changed out the switch with a few different ones and nothing doing. I even changed around the relays in the power box under the hood and still nothing. headlights are good but dont come on although the daytime running lights still work. no low beam or high beem.
Follow this link and scroll down to the Explorer section(past the Rangers). There are fuses and relays that control the headlights. Make sure you look at the power distribution box and fuse box diagrams. http://autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker...3d800ba8f3.jsp
Looks like marragtop has got you covered on the fuses, but I doubt if theres any relays in the headlight circuit.
If you're like me and like to do things the easy way, you need the Ford "electrical & vacuum troubleshooting manual." for a 95 Explorer.
With the XLNT wiring diagrams in this manual, it should'nt take you more than 15 minutes to test the multifunction/dimmer switch & the headlight switch.
Since I dont have a wiring diagram for yours, all I can do is guess, and since you have no power to low or high beams my guess would be a bad multi switch or a bad dash switch.
Which switch did you replace the one on the dash or the one in the steering column???
