Ok, I've got an '04, and my wiring was easy to find. Now I am helping out my uncle with his '99 and I can't find the ends of the wires under the dash. Where the heck are they? The ends in the engine compartment are obvious, but no luck on the inside. I even unbolted the fuse block, but I don't see them behind it. And while I'm here, is there an easy way to get the fuse block spun around so I can access the back of it? I really didn't expect this much difference between my truck and his, and now it's getting dark and I'm getting frustrated!
Matt
Ok, I just walked back out there and they just kinda jumped out at me this time. They are just on the opposite side from where I was expecting them. I could still use some advice on accessing the back of the fuse block though!

Reason: Found them!
That is where I found them on my truck. Right where it makes sense that they should be. On this '99 however, they were tucked just below the lower right corner of the big fuse panel cover. Now I just need to get my uncle to go pick up whatever style of switches he wants and I'm almost done!
Well your in luck!!! I found these here in the forum. I wanted the Upfitter Switches for mine and these guys can set you up. You wont really need the other wires but you could use them to get back through the firewall.

Thanks for the link, that will make for a very nice looking setup. I have been thinking about ordering the switches from the dealer, now I will probably order them from the link posted.
I used the wires to hook up some switches for a compressor and an air horn. I don't have the upfitter switches on my or my uncles truck so I had to put in my own.
What do you do with the wires once you find them? Im a little slow...Sorry
As far as I can tell they are for accessories. They simply run throught the firewall with the harness so you can hook things up. And not have to drill holes.
