Last time I posted here I owned a 78 f-150, now I got a 47 3/4 ton
I saw this truck on ebay and had to have it. Should be a fun truck to drive when I'm done with it. I know it's not as cool as an all original truck, but it is one of a kind.
I don't know what they used it for. It could have been for a trailer hauler. It has a 2-ton dually rear-end in it, but is only running one 19" wheel at the time. I'm just goin to make into a nice little rat rod.
yes I am the buyer. I drove about 700 miles down to delaware to pick it up. The drive was a nightmare in the snow with accidents everywhere, but it was worth it
right now I'm just goin to fix it up a little and make it into a little rat rod. Don't have the time nor the money to restore it to an original. Maybe sometime in the future.
It's got a 55 223 straight six in it right now. I'm gonna run that for a little bit then either take my bored out 300 or maybe go up to a big block. I gotta say though I do love those straight sixes
