The truck is looking fine! It will make an eyecatching tow truck.

Yes, the yellow '33 ****** is mine. My wife drove it to that car show so we would have something to tow the truck home should it not make it, since it was its first foray onto the streets. The ****** has a 300 ci inline six, runs 13s at the drags on street tires.

Ready for driving

After having to install a new front cover I am now waiting for insurance and tags to get this on the road and towing my race cars. Enjoy.

The rear end is sprung too softly. Does anybody have a rear spring leaf for the stock rear end - a pair that measure 24" long. The previous owner removed the 24" leaf from each set of springs and I want to add it back in to stiffen it back up.

I found some spring leaves for the rear and also a couple for the front, which doesn't have enough travel. I will also be adding some traction slapper bars as that 460 makes scarry amounts of torque and I want to get it all to the ground if need be.
