The link in the Technical Information thread to MotorCraft's website that has .pdf versions of owners' manuals is great for all Ford vehicles from 1996-Present.
I missed it by one year...
Does anyone know where I can download the manual for my 1995 Ranger 2.3L 4-Cyl. 2WD 5sp. Man. trans.?
I am specifically looking for the manual's page detailing the recommended service & maintenance schedule.
Most of you probably know this already, but for those who don't, here you go!
If you go to www.ford.com, you can register (for free) for the "My Ford" service. Click on "Service" on the main page, then "Owners" after that.
Once you've registered, upgrade your account by providing your basic information, including your truck's VIN. After that, you are home free! You can get maintenance schedules, owner's literature, and more!
Hope this info. helps!
(I have to call Ford's Customer Service tomorrow as instructed because it said the owner info. registered to that VIN did not match my info. -- a common result I'd suspect because of used car sales. But once I make the call, I can access the info. I need).
Does anyone know where I can download the 1995 Ranger manual in .pdf format? I'd hate to have to shell out $20-30 when I know there are free .pdf versions out there...
Well, I've never seen one going back that far in a .pdf file. Maybe try some junkyards, car-part.com and call some junkyards, or pay a visit to and keep checking ebay. There's people out there that have a fettish for collecting then selling owners manuals online.
I ended up downloading and printing the 1996 Ranger manual. From what I've gathered, there is little to no difference between the 1995 and 1996 Rangers. Do you agree?
