How my truck quit smoking (didnt even need nicorette).
My tired old pickup, with its 360 had a terrible smoking problem. As soon as you cranked it up you had a fog bank. If you revved it up a couple of times you would have so much smoke it would cling in the trees. Well, a friend of mine made a suggestion to change the oil, use Lucas oil and instead of normal oil, use the high mileage stuff from Quaker State. So even though there was less than 200 miles on it since the last oil change I did it. That truck hasn't puffed a bit since then. I couldn't believe it. I'm a novice mechanic, so I don't know exactly what that stuff did but I'm a happy camper!

I have the same problem... What is Lucas Oil? Is it synthetic? What weight did you use?

Lucas oil is like a motor conditioner, you replace one quart of oil with it. The only place I can find it around here is at Advance Auto Parts.

Thick is right, took several minutes just to squeeze that bottle dry. Thought for a minute I was putting molasses in there!!
