90's mustang 302 EFI to 1979 T18 trans ? possible ?

can i bolt the T18 to a 90's mustang 302 with fuel injection ? are the 302 blocks the same throughout the course of years ? if not, anyone know who makes an adapter plate ?
also will the 2WD T18 bolt up to the NP205 that i plan on using ? i have heard that the 2WD and 4WD t18's differ. perhaps a tailshaft conversion will fix the problem ?

Is the np205 married or divorced style? If divorced you may not have too do anything but maybe a slipjoint conversion, if the t-case is a married one, you will need a tailshaft conversion.
All ford bellhousings stayed the same, you have bigblock and small block bellhousings. the 302 will bolt too the t-18
