ok... i did the zoodad mod... really simple... i haven't got my cover for it yet.. also i want to add a heat shield to seal the air filter area from the rest of the engine compartment... anybody have a real easy way to make one... oh yeah... boy am i DUMB...! i went to take the grille of because it is the only way i could drill the hole for the air to go through... i thought the grille was a pain to take off... NOPE...! only took me a couple of minutes to figure out... how am i dumb you ask... i should have looked into taking this off when i installed my tranny cooler...! i could have saved myself hours of frustrating work...! uggghhh...! sometimes you just have to be a little smarter than the average bear...!
Was lookin at it today whats it 4 screws on top and clips on bottem. Looked like I might do something stupid and spill my beer while I was doing it. I was looking at a thread about putting a bug guard made out of lath wire on the inside. Don't know why they said to make cut out for hood release. in less it was for the OBS's.Looked cool though.

Looked at the Artical again it's not an OBS. Don't all the NBS's come with inside hood releases? And I guess I was wrong there are 5 screws. Johnny 8 Don't beat your self up over it just move on. Man that must have been a lot of work gettin a cooler up through the bottem kind of tight.

I already did the screen mod with fiberglass bug screen. You can get a roll from Home Depot. My condensor stays clean now and no rocks are dinging it anymore.
When I took out my grill, I figured out the 4 screws on the top, but the clips were confusing. All you do is push a big screwdriver to pop up the clip and pull. You have to pop them out one at a time. When you put the grill back in, just hit it with your palm and the clips will pop back in.
I even put a screen above the license plate the the bottom of the bumper.
When adding a screen in front of the radiator, be careful not to use a screen with small holes (i.e. window screening). You'd be surprised how much they block air flow (try holding a screen door when the wind is gusting). We also were using them on our dirt race cars to keep mud/dirt out of the radiator and noticed a big change when switching to wire screen with 1/4" holes.
