FX4 wheel/tire questions???
Hey ya'll, just checking in from the Expedition Forum, looking at getting a set of 2005 FX4 take-offs for my Expy, since I'm in the same boat as ya'll when it comes to finding a set of black steel wheels. It just blows my mind that the most popular truck on the road, and they say there isn't a demand for them, but I could get a set for a 1980 Toyota 4x4? Anyway, for those with the new FX4, what do you think of the BFG tires that come on there? Any problems I should look out for, like road noise, vibrations, hard to hold a balance? Also, anyone know the exact actual height of the tires? I figured them to be 32.6" by calculations, but was just wondering the actual height. Thanks in advance for any and all responses!

I have the BFG tires that Ford puts on there and i would say just buy the rims and some different tires with 16k miles on the tires, they are wearing pretty quickly no traction in the mud, average in sand, and pretty good on wet pavement. The tires hold the balance pretty good unless you add even a slight bit of Tire slime. Noise, cant hear much over my exhaust.
