Tires on my 05

Is this post in the right section? PSD, power stroke superduty?
Although I am interested in the tires. How do they handle? I will be wanting something better when my Long Trails get 12-18k on them, and I noticed Pirelli tires are much cheaper than the Michlins I was thinking of.

I think the SDs with those tires are few and far between. But god only knows anymore. Ford uses so many tires on there trucks I must stock 15 diffrent ones just for 00+ F-series trucks.
My best guess is either since the Firestone debacle nobody wants to become their 'sole provider' or Ford is trying to spread the liability around in case another media event happens.

Thats a possibility. Liability is such a big part of business any more.
My wifes 04 f150 came with General tires which I do not recommend. They are noisey and difficult to balance. The Pirelli tires are quiet and smooth.
