Ford Courier where to ask questions?
I'm concidering putting a frame under my '63 RANCHERO.I have been told the only frame that works is cheby s-10.Im a person who belives in FORD.Want my RANCHERO all FORD.So does anyone know where I can find a picture chart or tell me about a frame for a FORD courier.I like to see if it could work? I know where there is one in a salvage yard away from me. I'm interested in the front section cab foward.Any serious comments or sujestions welcome.Thanks Ken N.

Ford Courier- Haven't seen one of those since the 70's. I would consider going with a front frame section made from tube/square stock with a Mustang II front suspension. That is a quite popular setup, as far as I know. Parts might be a lot easier to get, as well.

The chevy s-10 was a way better truck then then courier. Thats like saying i would rather use pinto parts the camaro parts. Look around, probably about half the ford guys with old school hot rods have small black chevys and camaro front ends, It's the more reliable set up. If you do insist on keeping it all ford then i consider retro fitting an early-mid 80's mustang front end with the power rack and pinion and disk brakes.
