And...

Are you trying to say that you know more about trucks than Honda engineers?

Honda had specific reasons for using a unibody platform for their truck. Obviously, it has many drawbacks (yes, they know this), but they still chose to use it in their vehicle. The Ridgeline was not meant for the same uses as a typical full-size truck. After all, one glance at it and you know its not a typical truck. The truck combines "medium-duty" offroad capability with "medium-duty" payload and towing abilities. The vehicle is simply aimed at those who wish to use a pickup for such duties, but do not desire a full-fledged pickup for the job. This truck is much more refined and car-like than say, an F-150 or a Tundra, but it still has decent abilities.

If Honda made a truck with the same philosophy as their ATVs, maybe you would like it better. But, the company chose not to.

I personally would not benefit from the functionality of this truck, but many people will.

I would like to know why you flame other manufacturers for the design of their vehicle because it is not like yours or it is not typical.

Petersons 4x4 just did a test of these and they said its just made for hauling artound 4wheelers and dirtbikes to trail heads that might be down roads that are a little rutted and not taken care of. But thats about all it will do.
