64 Ford F350, W/ 68 Mustang Master Cylinder

Hello All
ive decided to bust some of the questions im having out of my last post to hopefully get some more detail on specific questions i now have

64 Ford F350, W/ 68 Mustang Master Cylinder

ok 64 ton truck with manual brakes 5000 pound of stuff = Hard to stop for my father. i seen a few comments about a 68 mustang master Cylinder bolting up relativly easy to these year model trucks (and i just happen to have a spare 68 mustang setting here)...my question is...how much actual diffrence in stopping does this conversion give.?
and does it lessen the exertion on the drivers legs.? (my dads getting a little older now and his strengh isent what it wonce was)

also do you think i should skip this converstion and move to somthing with a power brakes.?...plez keep in mind i am a novice to this so most work will need to be relitivly simple and be done with information i can obtain somwhere ..say like this board..

ok all thank you again for your time and attention

The only benefit of the Mustang non-power master cylinder is to get dual circuit brakes for safety. It will do nothing to help pedal effort. Your only solution is power boosted brakes, and/or going to a disc conversion (I'd vote 'and' in your case). It will be a bit of a challenge since it's a 1 ton truck, as I'm not sure what may interchange for you on a solid axle application.

Go power if you want to change pedal effort.
66-71 Bronco will work its a small dia booster with twin lines.
