Ooouuuch, Not Good !

What you need to get is a schematic for donor vehicle, determine which is what and go from there. Failing that, there is a device called a breakout box we use to figure out wiring & harness anomalies, but we also usually have either a certificate in field of EFI & Driveability, or a good working knowledge of EFI Systems & Technologies.

An 88 Town Car will have an EEC IV based System with SEFI/TP hardware. That 5.0L is what is called a "roller engine" because it has roller hydraulic lifters.

When looking for a diagram you need to know if engine uses TFI Distribuitor Mounted ignition module, or a remote mounted digital ignition module, it makes a difference.

You might also check with "EFI GURUs" here at FTE the EFI forum, they might be able to help, but it's hard to do without being there and seeing the thing. . . .

Or if you "have it together in EFI Field" you can upgrade an 88 SEFI/TP into a later style, stand alone, MAFS or "Mass Air" type system. It might be easier in the long run.

Good Luck On this one
