Engine knock and whine
I have a '93 F150 w/351. My engine just began knocking real bad (about 5 days ago). I am trying to figure out if it is bad gas or not. I can hear it all the time and it almost sounds like a diesel engine. Can anyone give me some ideas?
I also have noticed lately, starting about the same time as the knocking. When I start my truck up I can hear a fairly high pitched hum. It only lasts for about 10 sec. or so. Any ideas?
