I have a very nice 1941 6 cyl truck. The radiator needs to be reconditioned and I can not get it out of the truck without taking the whole front doghouse off. Is there an easier way than this.? Also does anybody know of anybody who specializes in rebuilding these early radiators. This truck is all original and I would like to keep it that way as much as possible. Thanks!
I took my radiator to a local shop where he sent the radiator to Fort Worth where they had people replace the origional fins with new ones and paint the thing. If you try some of your local places they may be able to do the same for you. I'm guessing that you have a 1/2 ton because the 1 ton's was pretty easy to take out. Anyone know about the radiator?
