setting timing on 94 f150 4.9L
how do i go about setting the timing on a 4.9L 300 cu 94 f150
i know little about timing setting ... is there a button, clip, plug u have to remove off the wiring any to set timing or just loosen bolt on distributor and set timming .??

There is a bolt you losen up just a little on the distributor and then, I believe turn it left to advance and Right to retard. Use a timming light if you have one. If not you can listen to the motor when lifters start tapping back of just a little till it goes away. < just incase you dont know>.
