Tack wire

I was checking A past post on wireing a tack. A previous question was what I needed,But I have another.

When hooking to the - side of the coil my 77 it has a clip, So can I splice into the BROWN wire which is - by the MODULE it is closer to the fire wall

i think you wire to the positive side of the tack

I don't know what color the wire is on your truck, but yes, you can hook over near the module. In the above diagram, it is the "green" wire.

I'99 percent sure the neg. on mine is BROWN not 100 percent, But as long as it's the NEG.---Right Tack-- red to hot
orange to light switch
Black to ground
green to neg side of coil

You were right the wire is green dirt.

I have no reading orange light, (working) black ground, Green to green before module and red to hot. Nothing, But the light shines bright.
