I bought a used Tack on EBAY.It came with no instructions and I can't get it to work.I have looked for a brand name but there is none.
.Before I come to the"BUYER BEWARE" thing I want to cover all bases
The light works so I have two of the 4 wires right.
ORANGE-----LIGHT
BLACK-------GROUND
GREEN-------Green wire in front of Module which is Neg to coil
RED ---------HOT put it in the fuse at the heater fan. Fan works so it is getting power
NOTHING. So I was wondering if they are all wired the same before I give up on this
Don
That sounds right. If you want to experiment with it a little bit, hook it to a battery charger. As soon as you hook power up you may see the needle jump a little bit. With the power still hooked up, take the green wire and brush it quickly on the negative. When you do this, the needle will usually jump a little bit also. You may want to try the tach casing instead of the black wire for ground and see if that makes any difference.
