aux lights
i want to add some aux switched back up lights to my F150. I don't want to buy a kit because of the the price. I'll be buying some CHEAP lights from walmart. anyway, can someone point me in the direction of wiring these up, what relays i need, wiring, fuses. Websites are fine. links to other posts. Sorry my search NEVER works. thanks

This link isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it will give you enough info to hook up back-up lights easily.

You could use the + feed to the existing reverse lights to trigger the relay also, just in case you decide against a switch.
If you choose an existing fused circuit to power the switch (relay trigger), pick one that shuts off with the key. You can choose one that only works when the key is in the "run" position, or one that also works with the key in the "acc" position. Use a test light to find the one that you prefer.

I was in Walmart the other day, and over in the auto section they sold a wiring kit that had the relay, fuse and everything you need to hook up foglamps, etc, except the lights. This same kit will work for any type of aux lighting.
