FUSE # for battery charge(to trailer)/Which pin on connector?

Lost the manual, (ordering another at helminc.com)

but, can anyone tell me the fuse # that is for the battery charge, regarding towing a trailer. ...plugged into the large 6 pin (plus the one in the middle)
trailer plug at the back of the truck. Also, can someone tell me which pin carries the battery charge through to the trailer? I know they're numbered in some way, but if you read it clockwise, I would call them 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. Anyway, any help would be great.
As far as I remember, the fuse for the battery charge (trailer) was a 30 amp?
But don't know which number, or location.

By the way it's a '99 PSD F250 4X4

www.accessconnect.com/trailer_wiring_diagram.htm shows tow vehicle and trailer wiring for 7-pole RV style connectors.

It's the fuse at position #5, and it's a 30 amp mini. Looking at the fuse panel, with the relays on the right and the fuses on the left, start at the left most row of fuses, and count up 3 spots. The third spot from the bottom is position #5.

Your center pin should be for trailer battery charge, 12volts, you should have another pin that feeds the electric brakes when your foot is on the brake only. Do you have the electric brake controler installed?

The center pin is hot when in reverse; pin #4 is for battery charge, hot only with the key on.

I think you're right, it's the number 4 pin.

Still not sure about the fuse though. But the fuse for the batt. charge must be ok, since I'm getting 12 V on it (checked w/ voltmeter). Manual's on order and hopefully that'll clear things up. but for the next two weeks, I'll be guessing a little.

For whatever reason, I'm not getting 12 V through all of the pins. Some are around 3 V (turn signals for instance) ..actually the only one I am getting a steady 12 V through is the batt. charge pin. If that's normal for everyone, then I've got nothing to be concerned with.

thanks for the info.

Red -

Did you get 12V from the center pin in reverse? You won't get any reading from the brake pin unless you have a controller and relay(s) installed and someone is pushing the brake pedal. The two brake/turn signal pins and the running lights pin should show 12V when the corresponding truck lights are on. Make sure you have a good ground.
