I just replaced the gas tank in my truck, (it was fun, had to drill a hole in the top) The sender was working fine before and it was clean, but when we hooked it up, it just reads full. What did I do wrong? Its a 78 F100

 

check your power connection and your ground connection, try the fuses as well
