will a 79 grill fit a 73 truck? thanks.

It will but you have to use 79 headlights and other stuff. Its not exactly bolt on.

or find the 78-79 core support that will also bolt to your 73 so all the mounts will be there

thanks, yeah i knew i would have to use the 79 lights, instead of fitting round lights in a square hole. i was just wondering most of all if the edges would match up with the fenders and hood, i dont have a donor truck yet and i live in alaska with no recking yards so i gotto make due with what i got. thanks.

it will all bolt right up, might have to drill a couple holes to mount the headlight buckets, but thats it. I think the turn signal wires are different also, but thats easy. Just get the grille, headlight buckets, and the metal cover from the top of the buckets, and it should bolt on real easy. I have done it before, the core support is the same. Might want to check yours for rust though, the older ones rusted alot because of no plastic fender liners, those bolt right in also.
