"Premium Sound" stock Amp location
Ok here's the deal. The tape player died in my 1992 Ford Explorer. I went to Best Buy and got a CD player to replace it. This one includes a built in amp, so I dont need the stock one. It includes a bypass plug, just unbolt the amp and stick the bypass plug in. Simple. The problem is, I cant find the darn amp!
So if anyone knows where it is located, it would help me a lot.

The amp is located behind the right rear interior panel. It should be just in front of the tire well. You will need to run the bypass wires down the passenger side sill. There should be a channel that you can use.

Ok cool I found it. I really wish they'd have had an access panel, that thing is kind of a pain to get to.
Anyway, I removed and bypassed it. CD player is in, and works great. Never sounded better!
