Bootie, I put up a few pictures in my gallery of some 40 and 47 pickups that may answer some of your questions, and raise others. Hope they help out with your project.

nope no measurements for the gearbox crossmember - picking up anoither truck today - 1 1/2 tonner - but the gearbox cross in that is different

Alittle 40. I am somewhat confused. Because of my lack of hitech expertise, I have not been able to figure out how to use the gallery. Last night I posted some photos to it, then saw it, then could not find it again??? I emailed FTE but cannot find where to go to edit what I can o longer find??? Would you kindly email me some simple instructions. I have noticed there are a few of you guys who post a lot. So I will likely ask them as well, in case your vacationing in Tahiti or some such!!!
