Hi all I have of late started to get a no start problem with my 93. It runs good but every now and then it will not start. When this happens there is no spark at the end of the plug wires. After a short time or many tries it then normally fires up and run like nothing wrong. At the same time the CEL comes on then after a few miles go's out. Also last summer it barely passed the calif smog check. This is a 49 state truck bought in Idaho. It has the 4.0 and auto Tran. Manual hubs and 4x4 shifter. 175,000 miles runs strong still but has always used about one quart of oil every 2 to 3,000 miles.
Second problem is front end noise? When at highway speed it sounds like a bad wheel bearing. Bout have been replace and made no deference. Louder at 55 to 65 then 70 or 75. Also increases with brake usage. Any idea? So far no shop can find it or knows why could it be the spindle bearings? Seams to be the loudest when the road turns right and almost go's away when turning left on the road. The harder the turn the loader it is any ideas please help here or send me an email thanks
