Hi Dave - welcome to FTE.
We're putting bucket seats in our '41 from our Mustang donor car. Steve cut out that box thing the bench seat sat on and built a new frame out of that 2x4 metal tubing to bring the platform a little lower (plus the original frame was pretty rotted in the front). The buckets almost touch each other at the widest part of the seat, but it's not a problem since the cab is only made for 2 anyway.
