Bucket seats donor vehicle

What vehicles have good bucket seats that install with minimal modifications and has the right seat height?

Ideally I could also use the engine and tranny as well

Thankyou

I used seats out of a 2003 GMC Envoy. They fit and look good. I chose them because they had integral seat belts. I had to make short legs on the middle side as the Envoy floor is not flat.

Thanks for the response and the pictures. They do look nice and I also like the idea of having the integral seat belts. Did you hook up the power feature to the seats?

Those seats look great but I'd have some concerns they are too poofy to go back far enough for longer legged guys. The thinner the back, the more hip or leg room you will have.

True. I have power steering and a small steering wheel. I am 6 foot and about 260 and I fit, but no extra room.

Did you keep the gas tank in the cab?

Nope. I moved the gas tank under the bed where the spare tire was originally installed. There are pictures in my galley. Just click on my name and chose gallery.

I'm going to say that you are going to find those seats way too close to the pedals, for a 6 footer. I'm 6 foot and even with a stock seat find that there is way too much of my weight on my tailbone to be comfortable for very long at a time in these old trucks. Cruise control would help

Great Job, and thank you, I am going to refer back to your pictures often for ideas. Question. I don't have the skill to make my own pitman arm for the toyota steering box. Is there a source where I can buy it?
