A bus driver had a coughing fit while going down the freeway. This caused him to crash through the center concrete divider. He then hit the a man on a motorcycle, killing him instantly. The CHP said that the motorcycle rider was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sad story.
WOW what a statement from an officer...makes you wonder what the family thought of that remark.
And juust what should have said??? Maybe something like "WOW look at that bloody spot on the front of that bus!!" I gusee that would have been better.
Best thing he/she could have said would be NOTHING AT ALL.
What I see here is a problem with the fact that (probably) only a small portion of the whole statement is quoted. This allows a distorted view to be projected and the truth to be misrepresented.
Exactly what politicians are doing when they use portions of quotes from their opponents, distorting reality to support their position against their foe or record.
I am not saying this to promote ANY political discussion, just as an example.

Well, no matter what is said, the bus v/s motorcycle outcome is always the same... unfortunately, it's never good to be the motorcyclist in that clash...
