Power Mirror loose from its sockets
The power mirror on my 1999 Expedition has come loose from the sockets in the back plate in the mirror housing. There are four shafts, two round and two square that fit into the back plate. I can get the four in place (I think they are seated correctly) but as soon as I use the remote switch they come loose again. Is there something that holds them in, perhaps from the back of the plate that I am not aware of, or is there another fastener that may be broken or needs replaced?

there a rubber sleaves that fit over the white pegs/pins. The sleaves help hold the pegs/pins in place. I don't think you can buy the sleaves from Ford. I know you can't buy the pegs/pins, so I'm assuming they don't sell the sleaves. May try a junck yard.
