i noticed a few of you mentioned you had yellow-ed headlights. my 93 had this problem. a lot of it is on the outside of the headlight, not the inside. next time you wash your rig.. if you do... hehe. take either a cleaner wax or fine rubbing compound and wax the outside of the headlights. they clean up really well!
Plastic polish & cleaner products, you might have to use 2000 grit sand paper, you can take the headlights out while doing it and while doing it clean the insides too. don't touch the bulb if it is halogens.
If your headlights have water inside them well there is more then one way to seal them. what I like to do is tape the lens all up, clean first, use plastic spray paint. If lens is cracked then use a clear cement just enough to cover in the crack.
yeah, just hand-buff them. it worked for my 93. those are also good suggestions. i'm just letting some people know cause in another thread i was reading a lot of people were mentioning yellowed headlights..
It's called Meguiars clear plastic and cleaner polish from Autozone. Works like a champ and costs about a $1.00 per packet. One packet is more than enough to do two headlights. Makes them old fogged up headlight covers look like new.
Clean them inside and out (several good suggestions here) and then pop in a couple of Sylvania Silverstar bulbs while you're at it. Your headlights will look and work as good as (or even better than) new.
