headers for 351w

The transmissions do interchange between a 302 and 351w, just be sure and use the appropriate flywheel or flexplate, after the early 80's they no longer used the same balance the 302 went to a 50 oz and the 351w kept using the 28 oz.
As far as the headers, I have shorty heads that were originally from the factory intended for a 95 efi 302 4X4, I put these on my 87 carbed 351w 2wd and it was a direct bolt on to the existing exhaust system. The 302/351w use the same heads so they will bolt on regardless, you may have issues with clearance and your exhaust pipe but you may be surprised and they be a direct fit, worth a shot IMO.
