Is '99 a bad year?????

I have noticed that there are a lot of problems on this forum with '99s, is this true, or am I just paranoid?

It's just one of those things. If you had dropped in another time, it might have been the '94s that were acting up.

It seems like all years/engines/trannies, etc have there own issues and then some groups of years have common problems. Like Rockledge said, you just happened to see a lot threads on the 99.

i have a 99 that has been trouble free for me since i first drove it off the lot.. biggest problem i have with it now is my head wants a new truck toy but my heart wont let me get rid of " old faithful"

99's rule

I have 187,375 miles on my 99 3.0v and the only trouble I've had was some corrosion on a sensor.......and the corrosion got sucked through the whole EGR system......but that's $75 in repairs over 187,000 miles......I think that's more than reasonable.
