Vibratation at high speeds
My truck has had this problem scince I bought it. Between the speeds of 70-80 it vibrates, harder when slowing down at that speed. But as soon as I hit 65 or 85 it stops. I think the problem may be one of my rear tires. I had a crack in the rim and had a shop weld it. They put the tire back on the rim and I filled it back up at a gas station. Is this tire in need of balancing or is it something more?

How are the tierods, balljoints ect. I know I was down your way last week and I thought some of the potholes were going to gobble my truck up. How often do you rotate tires? Wheel wieghts are a problem I could not keep on my 95 it kept thoughing them off. Good luck. A cracked rim will defendly be a problem too.

If you had a rim welded for a crack it is a bi**h to get it to rebalance correctly, expically if its aluminum. I would get a good used one instead, besides welding on a rim is not the best thing to do is it is on your vehicle, I know from experience.
