rough idle
Hoping you guys might be able to shed some light on this for me. My rig has developed a rough idle, it is really noticable when you are sitting at lights in Drive with your foot on the brake. It's not horrible when in Park, just when loaded against the trans. The truck has been back to the dealer to fix an oil leak somewhere in the valley of the engine, and it was on its return that the vibration started. It was sent back and they bleed the injectors, no result. Back in for two days to fit a new feul filter assembly and still no joy. I have got the s*&%# with dealing with the complete muppets at my dealer and intend to take it to a proper diesel shop to be fixed. I know this will cost me but each day the rig is off the road it costs me to. Any clues would be a huge help.
Sounds like one or two cyl. aren't getting diesel. Could be injector, injector wiring,IDM & thats my 2 cents.
