I dont know why my D0VE-A block 429 would be any different, but i thought BB fords ALL had the same fuel pump.....will the one above work?

Does your's have 3 fuel lines like this one does? A new one locally that is correct for your truck cost about the same. A truck may have the lines angled different than a car. Most trucks don't have the return line back to the tank.
But to answer your question, a 429/460 use the same pumps, there are just different ones to fit the body that the engine is in.
