Lifted trucks, how the heck you get in there?

not for nothing, but i took of my factory running boards the other day b/c i thought the truck would look cleaner and taller...which it does, but know i really have to hoist my butt into the cab. how the hell do you guys with 4" lifts and more get into your truck?? mine sits taller then most stock SD with the 285/75 and X springs, but i couldnt imagine a truck with a lift.

Kodiak Steps, long legs, and the steering wheel.

Now getting the girlfriend in there is a whole other story...

Mine's not lifted (yet) either but being 6'3" helps. Getting in isn't near as interesting as getting out. The first two friends that rode with me were around five and a half feet, both essentially fell out.

Thats the best part about having riders. Its always funny to watch them ali oop up in!!! Getting out is always easier because gravity does most of the work!!

I don't have steps or anything on mine. It keeps me from getting too fat

I had to put running boards on so I could get my fat --- in the truck.
Watching my wife get in is fun, shes 5'4" and has problems getting on the running boards. Its even more fun watching her try to drive it. She can't see over the hood. She drove it the first time in a parking lot and ran over a cement parking stop. She jumped out, swearing she would never drive it again.

I drove in a truck the other day with a 22.5" lift and 46" tires that the Kodiaks were not working in. I had to hold on to the door handle and jump up . Kodiaks are the bomb, though. That big truck makes my little 10.5" lift seem downright silly by comparison.

I was thinkin the otehr day, and i am going to simply install some chains in a u shape on my lifted 78, that way i will not have any high centering problems, because they will move. The old girldfriend would not get into my truck, even though i would have gladly helped her up.

Steering wheel helps. But I am so use to it now I don't notice. Unless I am hurt or something.. Then I notice big time... OK abendx. Yeti left himself wide open and you did not take the shot so I guess I will have to.. Yeti. I thought you just used the plow to push the big girls around.. Or used a crain to put them in the back..
